Positive Affirmation Origami Healing at The Adelaide Fringe
When the hands are busy, the heart is serene." Akira Yoshizawa
Origami No Kunoichi proudly presents a series of one on one artist interactive experiences as part of the 2017 Adelaide Fringe.
The Positive Affirmation Origami Healing Experience is a dramatic interactive experience that explores traditional Japanese practices of Okido rituals and the act of mindful meditation through origami art. We don’t often take the time out to think about ourselves and our inner desires. However, when we do, even just for a small moment, we become more open to future positive experiences and feel a readiness to relax into ourselves and find inner peace.
Positive Affirmation Origami Healing guides you to your own personal zen and provides a uniquely intimate, unforgettable cultural and artistic experience.
The Positive Affirmation Origami Healings will be conducted in a peaceful garden setting along the Torrens riverbank by the university footbridge to celebrate the final week of The Adelaide Fringe. Within easy walking distance from Victoria Drive, War Memorial Drive and the city centre, afternoon and sunset healing experiences will be provided along the river banks. An experience that will tantalise the senses and invoke the creative soul, one not to be missed!
Performances run for approximately 20 minutes and are ideally performed one on one or in small groups with no more than four per session. It is important to book a session time through fringetix or via the facebook event page as experiences are strictly limited.
